Kawaii Monster Cafe Harajuku – Tokyo

Colorful, psychedelic, flamboyant, in one word: mind-blowing!

This is the Kawaii Monster Cafe in Harajuku, Tokyo.

Open in August 2015 at the 4th floor of the YM square building it is a new concept of kawaii. This is the place to go to immerse yourself in the sparkling fluorescent world of Harajuku. Wear your cosplay, feel free to exaggerate with make up and accessories, you will never be out-of-place taking pictures with the kawaii monsters populating this special place in the heart of the most alternative and fashion creative neighborhood of Tokyo.

Every detail is just perfect, tables, chairs, room decor, lights, music, even the toilet, everything has been designed and created especially for this cafe.

And let’s not forget the food! The menu is on a tablet and you can choose among appetizers, drinks, main dishes with pasta and meat and, of course, desserts.

Don’t think the food is just food because in the parallel world of kawaii spaghetti are rainbows and panini are cute monsters.

This is a place you cannot miss on your next trip to Tokyo.
